Live in China? Alter your Lumia region settings to install more Windows Phone apps

There's nothing worse than purchasing a Windows Phone, but not able to stone the nighttime abroad with apps and games from the shop. The unique marketplace that is China has been an interesting addition to the ecosystem with Xbox Live, social networks and fifty-fifty shop content being affected by tight restrictions (The Great Firewall).

  • Turn off Wi-Fi and mobile information connectivity
  • Modify the region (come across higher up settings location) to Hong Kong and restart
